After much discussion, and with much attention to caution, the 28th Annual Yonkers Women of Excellence Awards Luncheon has been postponed from March 25 to May 13 to avoid any unnecessary contact with others until the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is under control.

Feeding Westchester 

Feeding WestchesterBe a “Hunger Hero” and join our Women in Business Committee is supporting Feeding Westchester, which is dedicated to alleviating hunger. Formerly known as The Food Bank, this exemplary organization combats hunger in Westchester every day with hands on work in the community. The largest service area for Feeding Westchester is Yonkers where more than 20 agencies are recipients of food distribution.

We ask you to support this worthy cause by bringing the following items to the luncheon. Representatives from Feeding Westchester will collect all donations and will be available to provide additional information.

Please Donate Most Needed Items:

  • Tuna & Canned Meats
  • Low Sugar Cereal
  • Peanut Butter
  • Whole Grain Rice, Pasta, Oats
  • Low Sodium Soups and Stews
  • 100% Fruit Juice
  • Canned Fruits & Vegetables 

Monetary donations will also be collected at the luncheon if you prefer. For every $1 donated Feeding Westchester can source 4 meals for our neighbors struggling with hunger. Checks should be made payable to Feeding Westchester.
