The 10th Annual "Women
of Excellence Awards" luncheon was held Wednesday, March 7th at Yonkers
Raceway, with keynote speaker Ms. Libby Pataki, First Lady, State of New
York.
This year's honorees are: Elizabeth
McFadden, Manpower Education Institute, Outstanding Business Professional
and Mentor; Lenore Minerva, Empress Ambulance Service, Entrepreneur of
the Year; Wanda London, City of Yonkers Parks Department, Above &
Beyond Award; and Murray Gunner, Executive Director Jewish Council of
Yonkers, the Thomas J. Caramadre Humanitarian award.
