Welcome to our Web Site, another milestone in this organization's illustrious century-plus history as a nerve center of the business community.

The Yonkers Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1893 as a Board of Trade. The organization grew with such intensity that, only 10 years later, it was expanded to a full chamber of commerce. Our mission has always remained true to the wishes of our founding fathers; for more than a century, we have been shepherding the business community, preserving its past and preparing its future. This Site is yet the latest extension of this mission.

The Chamber is the voice of business in Yonkers; it never hesitates to speak out in support of measures that will facilitate doing business here, or to oppose those acts (or lack thereof) that may impair or threaten the vitality of Yonkers businesses.

We have partnered with numerous government entities and business organizations to form a network extending into every segment of business society. Functioning "personally" as a one-to-one business counselor comes as easily to us as representing an entire industry.

As the new century approaches, this Site is the most recent incarnation of our efforts to always assist the process of doing business in any way we can.
